A slight dip in today's rally due to this article in the Washington Times - Al Qaeda warns of threat to water supply

I'm really amazed that this can have such an effect on the stock market. I can see possibly impacting bottled water or canned air, but the whole market....

The impact didn't last very long. The market moves based on the emotions and mood of the participants. It appears that after a brief pause, to decide whether the threat was legit, etc., the market went on its way. THat short dip we had could have simply be caused by buyers stepping aside for a few minutes to research that report.
