What’s a Stock Worth?

The Big Picture highlights what Mark Cuban has to say about how stocks are valued. (Cuban’s entire statement is here ) Mark is absolutely right that supply and demand, and the mood of the crowd (psychology) matter much more than all that fundamental mumbo jumbo. Especially in the short term.

Hello,
I really don’t know how to go about this, but I found a stock certificate from my father it is a gift to minors thing with 1000 shares of I think Blue Ridge Diamond energy inc. Something like that, anyway. It was bought in 1984. I couldn’t find info on it but want to see its worth and possibly sell it, if anyone can help me on that I will give a nice commision.
