This is a Trip… LOL
Just when you think you’ve heard it all (from Briefing.com)…
And TASER thought it had problems with short-sellers…
An interesting story out today is a press release issue by bulletin board traded Whistler Investments announcing that a listing has been made on the Berlin Stock Exchange without its authorization. The co is suspicious that its stock, along with other companies, like BGR Corp. and GoldSpring, have been targeted for naked shorting due to the unregulated nature of the Berlin Exchange. As a result, the co’s attorneys have been instructed to remove Whistler from the Berlin Listing immediately. The co is trying to determine who made the listing application. The co is reviewing the procedure to change the co’s CUSIP number requiring all brokers to request delivery of certificates to legitimize the exchange of present shares for new ones, pending the co’s anticipated move to the AMEX Exchange.
