I'll call it the "stock market sucks" indicator. I made a post back in May entitled 'This Market Sucks'. Over the subsequent months I've gotten a few hits from search engines from people searching on the term 'stock market sucks', but those hits have really picked up of late. Case in point, I just got 2 within minutes of each other today:
It looks like the angst level is certainly rising if people have turned to searching that phrase on Google for help. Forget the VIX, this will be my new fear & loathing indicator. ;-)
