Going to the Carnival
No watchlist today as I (and the market?) wait for the Fed announcement this afternoon. These always seem like wasted days to me. I wish they’d just do the announcement first thing Monday mornings. Oh well. In the mean time stop by this week’s Carnival of the Capitalists. Here are some of the posts that caught my interest:
- Search Engine Rankings: No Sleeping - A topic that been fascinating to me since I started blogging — and probably because I’m an ex-programmer too. For a hilarious (if I must say so myself), related post see my post about Anil Dash winning the SEO ‘Nigritude Ultramarine’ Google contest. (Relevant) Content is king!
- No Web Of Wealth? - About blogging for dollars, Instapundit and BlogAds.
- Simple E-Commerce Metrics - Something I’ve been thinking about a lot recently.
- Food for Thought - CurryBlog takes a look at (modern) portfolio theory which is apparently the first in a series of articles about common investor mistakes. I love the part about ‘buy and hold’ being an excellent methodology if you’re immortal. Something that is pointed out in ‘Trend Following‘ too.
