It was one of those days yesterday -- the one short I had actually went up and most of the shorts on the list didn't even trigger despite the weakness in the indices. Luckily my longs hung in there pretty well and two of them were actually up on the day. My scans didn't turn up much for today, and since today is options expiration I'm just going to skip the swing picks for today.
Elsewhere in the world: There was some interesting news out yesterday about Citigroup eliminating its stock technical analysis group. (Yikes!) They say that they want to focus on fundamental analysis, which makes sense if they're long-term investors and not traders. Also, here's another internet media company acquisition -- The New York Times Company Acquires About.com for $410 Million. (Both stories stolen borrowed from MaoXian)
