CNBC’s Squawk Blog
Posted on June 03rd, 2005 in Blogging
A few people have asked why I haven’t mentioned CNBC’s new Squawk Blog (SquawkBlog). There are a a few reasons why I didn’t:
- I found out about it late. Since I rarely watch CNBC any more I didn’t find out about the weblog until about a week after it launched. I figured that everybody who cared already knew about it.
- I’ve been waiting for them to post something worth linking to… I’m still waiting.
- Aren’t these the same people who were dogging blogs just a few months ago???
The comments over at Micro Persuasion’s post about the Squawk Blog pretty much sum up my thoughts about the blog. Maybe it’ll get better over time.

I can only take so much CNBC with their constant hyping of their broken stories, and Liz Claman asking CEOs what they think about their company’s stock being up $.13 today, and Maria yelling at me.
I watch Bloomberg whenever it’s on, but my cable provider only shows it til 11am.
