I just signed on to my BlogLines account and was shocked to see that all of my feeds were gone. A quick Technorati search revealed that I'm not the only one with that problem today, so I guess I shouldn't be too concerned. What's really interesting to me though is the usefulness of Technorati's (near) real-time search. Like Morrison points out, people all over the world are posting about this problem on their blogs and many more are doing exactly what I did -- searching to see if anybody else is having the same issue. On a 'mainstream' search engine you can't get that information for at least a couple of days.
Anyway, if anybody else is concerned about their BlogLines feeds being gone today hopefully they'll be back soon. This is a reminder to me to add exporting my feeds to my computer/data backup routine.
