7 Day Free trial to Trade-Ideas

The good folks over at Trade-Ideas are providing my readers a 7-day free trial of their service. Just be sure to sign up via my special (affiliate) link. (Update: the free trial period is offered to those who sign-up with non-free email account (i.e., not yahoo, hotmail, etc.) for control purposes.)

I'm very impressed with Trade-Ideas so far. In fact after I used it on Tuesday for the first time I ran out an bought another monitor just so I could have Trade-Ideas displayed on it.

Once you sign up be sure to go through their video tour. Note: be sure to watch the introduction to volatility and the intro to volume -- some really interesting stuff in there.

Hi Mike,
I see you like the scanner. You're using Trade-Ideas Pro right? I can only imagine the possibilities of it's use when volume picks up in the market.Looking forward to your write up.

yeah, I'm using Pro. I agree about when the market picks up. I've been mostly watching this week but I really like what I've seen

You all should know about this cool tool that might go along with this:

http://virt-dimension.sourceforge.net/

It allows you to have multiple virtual desktops. I only have 2 LCD monitors, but with this I can have unlimited. Right now I only have it set to 8 though. =)

I wish I had 8 physical monitors, but this is a decent alternative.

Dang, I signed up one night too early. Maybe they'll give me the two weeks anyway.

Anybody have some good configurations they care to share with the "collaborate" tool?

I think it's gonna take at least 2 weeks for me to figure out how to set it up. Lotsa settings.

The videos Trader Mike pointed out are great places to start. Here is the online help containing detailed explanations of the alerts and filters: http://www.trade-ideas.com/Help.html. Also here are more ways to contact us: http://www.trade-ideas.com/ContactInfo.html

One last item to mention: the free trial period is offered to those who sign-up with non-free email account (i.e., not yahoo, hotmail, etc.) for control purposes.

Chud,

Here are two that I'm still tweaking. They're pretty broad right now as I'm just trying to get a feel for each of the alerts. The first is just alerts for potential longs and the second is only for shorts.

My Longs Settings and My Shorts Settings

Mike,

The program sounds very promissing, except, I am totally confused. Guess I have to study it during the weekend.

Also, it wouldn't work sending it to my other computer. For some reason, I had to download the whole thing and it was very difficult to get anything working.

Hmm, I had no trouble at all installing it on my computers. You can email me if you need help or contact the guys at Trade-Ideas -- they're very responsive.
