Hi Mike,
Just finished a two week trial. I use Medved Quote Tracker for charts and Trade-Ideas Pro integrates with QT as an app and works quite well. I really like trade-ideas, it can be very powerful, has so many unique filters and is fairly easy to use. I found it overwhelming at first and then adjusted some filters to get it where I wanted. I think in the right hands it can produce some good picks. I doubt I will pay for the service at this time tho as I am a CAFE shareholder

Hi Mike,
I’m using the trade-ideas pro(downloadable version) now,it’s pretty sweet, makes it a lot easier to open multiple windows and gives you a little more real estate on the screen. The browser version took up too much room.I’m still tweaking the settings, but so far I like it.
P.S. thanks for the links

I just signed up for the pro version too. I’m tweaking away now.

What does it cost? Either I’m overlooking that on the site or it must be expensive.

Pro is $45/month. You can get Note that you can get a free 14-day trial of Trade-Ideas by following this link. Pricing is under the ’subscribe’ link at the top of their main page.

Hi Mike. Just got a quick question on the type of software to use for charting. Can you recommend any? Metastock? THX
By Michael on Aug 16, 2005 | Reply
Maximus,
I use eSignal for my real-time charts & TC2000 for my end-of-days scanning, note taking, watch lists, etc. I also have Metastock but I rarely use it.

Hey, Mike. I’ve been using Trade-Ideas for about 1 week now. It’s been great. Integrates nicely with QuoteTracker. I create my own symbol lists and load them from a file each night based on a combination of TC2005, Wealth-Lab, and R batch scans. The Trade-Ideas Pro connection has dropped twice since I’ve been using them…and each time I was able to login to the web and check out the alert history for the day to catch any that I missed while Pro is down.
Overall, a great package. And the subscription costs are cheap compared to the few competitors out there.
