January 18, 2006 Stock Market Recap

Well the day didn't turn out to be quite as bad as advertised this morning. The dip buyers rushed in first thing in the morning and provided pretty good support for the market. The S&P 500 looks surprisingly good to me given all the negativity in the air. I'm starting to see some attractive longs in my scans. If it wasn't for earnings and expiration I might actually put some money to work in my longer term account. Oh well...

Here are charts of the Nasdaq, S&P 500, Intel and Yahoo!
