MetaStock is good but I find it to be overkill for most of what I do (and it's expensive). I've heard good things about <a href="http://iqchart.com/" rel="nofollow">IQCharts</a> but I haven't used it myself in a looong time. You may want to check <a href="http://elitetrader.com/so" rel="nofollow">the forums at Elite Trader</a> to see what people are saying about various packages. Drew,
