April 10, 2006 Stock Market Recap

Trading was rather choppy today, probably 'helped' by the ramp in oil prices. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 probed support and bounced back to close above those important levels. Volume decreased again today - the S&P's volume looks like this was one of those silly half-day holiday sessions. I'm sure the imminent earnings season will get the trading levels up in no time.
