Hopefully I’ll Be Back Tomorrow
By Michael on Sep 20, 2006 in Misc
I’m not even sure if this is going to show up since it took me three hours to get the last post to appear…
I’m going to spend the day doing one of my least favorite things, moving this site to a new web host. My host’s ongoing disaster has forced me to bite the bullet and upgrade to a dedicated server. Hopefully that will alleviate the issues of getting the site to load in the morning when my traffic is heaviest.
With any luck I’ll get everything set up today and have a watchlist up in the morning. Good luck/skill if you’re trading today.

Good Q&A I read on instantbull’s homepage about the pros and pros of a dedicated server setup … definitely worth the money in my opinion … good luck with it Mike!

thanks guys.
Simply Options Trader,
That’s not me on the video. But looking at the charts Hubert’s using he’s using 2 minute bars.

Oops, sorry. But thanks anyway.
Believe your move to the new web host went on well….your site is still up & running

What web host are you moving to, Mike?

Dave,
the unfortuantely named buyhttp.com/ . I’m actually on a semi-dedicated plan. If that doesn’t help the performance I’ll upgrade to my own server.

Mike,
If your schedule permits, try to make the move Friday night. Or, at the very least, update the DNS settings Friday night. Otherwise, Monday might be a day without TraderMike.net while the DNS propgates. A day without your commentary would make me (and I’m sure a few other folks) kind of sad.
