An Interview with Me at StockTickr

Last week when Dave posted his interview with "Random" Roger Nusbaum, he mentioned that Roger sent in his responses in record time. Well Dave was nice enough not to mention that my responses came in record time as well -- I'm sure I took the longest of all the folks in the interview series to finish the interview. But Dave has the patience of a Buddhist monk and still saw fit to publish my answers. So go check out the interview and feel free to leave comments or questions over there and I'll be sure to answer them promptly.

P.S. While you're there, take a look at StockTickr, if you haven't already.

Mike,

I know you have talked about this before but I can't find it...per share vs single trade pricing vs prop firm w/ per share.

My problem is I am still trading with TDAmeritrade. I did 21 round trips last month and it cost me $420. I plan to be trading more in the future so I need to make a change.

Thanks

Mike,

When you enter your trades at Cybertrader do you use CyberExchange or do you choose your own order routing? In Financial Freedom Through Electronic Day Trading there is an emphasis on choosing the correct route but maybe that is not as important any more.

Thanks,

Gary

Gary

Gary,

Funny that you asked that b/c Dave (from StockTickr) is switching to CyberTrader and just asked me the same question an hour ago. I just use CyberExchange (CyberXchange) and let the software figure out the routing. I think that directing your orders yourself is only (possibly) useful/helpful if you're scalping. If you're not scalping it's not even worth worrying about, IMHO.

That is eerie that Gary asked you that. :-?

You're nowhere near the record, Mike. Jim Cramer hasn't returned his responses. And he's not even returning my phone calls. :d

check out my neighbors in meatspace
