There's not much to say right now. We've just got to wait & see how the market reacts to the Fed decision this afternoon.

On Today's Calendar:

  • 2:15 -- FOMC Policy Statement

More Calendars: U.S. Earnings | Conf. Calls | Surprises | IPO | Economic

Potential swing trades:

See one of the recent 'Chart Reading' posts for some potential swing candidates. Also be sure to check my typical swing trade entry & exit rules.

Here are some charts that caught my eye when flipping through my scans:

Motorola-Inc.-(MOT)

Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS) -- This would be a counter-trend trade, which isn't my thing.

CBS Corporation (CBS)

The Dow Chemical Company (DOW)

Illumina, Inc. (ILMN)

Other charts on my radar are APD, MTW, TDW, BUCY, RDN, TUP, HSC AND NUAN

Mike,

First and foremost I would like to thank you for your unselfish willingness to share your knowledge. I discovered your site in December and tried to take advantage of your experience and been using your site as an education portal. Sometimes I have a little problems with timelines though. By you listing swing trades are you back to swing trading? Or are you Day Trading as well as Swing Trading?

Thanks again

Sam

Sam,

No, I'm not swing trading any more. But I will sometime day trade my swing trade setups. I post the swing setups b/c the majority of this site's audience does that type of trading.

I'll sometimes trade some of my swing setups in my long term account.
