Dave does it again… This time breaking down the reasons people give for not voting, complete with Tipping Points. (And he gives a great comparison to the reasons that people give for not exercising.) I used to be guilty of using reasons 1 through 6 as rationalization not to vote. Thankfully I overcame that about eight years ago. One point that Dave didn’t mention is the inconvenience of getting to the polls. I think if people could vote online and/or over the phone that we’d see a significant rise in participation rates. Which is probably why we still can’t vote via those methods.
